Katelyn Ainsworth
Katelyn serves as the Chief Tax Officer of Dakota Tax Services. A practicing attorney and certified public accountant, Katelyn Ainsworth has 20 years of experience providing income tax, estate and gift tax, and planning services to high net worth individuals and families. Kate partners with her clients and their other advisors to identify appropriate tax planning strategies that address the evolving needs of her clients and the ever changing legislative environment.
Kate joined the firm through Dakota Wealth Management’s acquisition of GML Associates, a Boston-based firm specializing in tax, business, estate and financial planning. Before earning her juris doctorate from New England School of law in 2010, Katelyn held management positions at several large accounting firms. In addition to her law degree, Katelyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and marketing from Boston College.
When she is not managing the Tax Practice, Kate enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and their three young sons.
