Gina K. Bartell
Gina Bartell brings over 28 years of dedicated service in financial and accounting roles, with a focus on investment management for the past 24 years. Gina’s journey has been marked by a commitment to integrity, a genuine care for her team, and a passion for helping clients make informed decisions about their finances. Her career trajectory began at Bremer Investments, where she served as an investment manager from 1999 to 2009, overseeing the financial well-being of her clients. Driven by her desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives, Gina later established her own successful practice. Her dedication and proven track record caught the attention of Ledge Wealth, where she eventually merged her practice, co-managing the firm and contributing to its continued success.
In 2024, Gina took the next step in her career by joining Dakota, bringing her wealth of experience and leadership skills to the firm. Gina’s biggest reward comes from witnessing the positive impact of her advice on clients’ lives. She takes pride in guiding them toward financial success and cherishes the moments when clients acknowledge the pivotal decisions made together. Her dedication to helping clients achieve their goals and navigate life’s complexities remains a driving force in her career.
In March 2017, Gina achieved a significant professional milestone by earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Gina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the College of St. Benedict and is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), specializing in serving professional, affluent women clients and addressing their unique investment needs.
Outside the financial realm, Gina is an active member of her community, volunteering as a choir member and pianist at St. Wendelin’s Parish and contributing her time to Quiet Oaks Hospice House. She further demonstrates her commitment to education by serving on the ROCORI Dollars for Scholars Committee.
A lifelong resident of St. Cloud, MN, Gina lives with her husband, Joe. They recently became empty nesters but cherish the moments spent with their sons, Reed and Brett, when they return home from college and their respective careers. The couple enjoys spending time at their northern Minnesota cabin, where they stay active fishing, hunting, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
