Garrett DeViveiros
Garrett is a dedicated Tax Associate at Dakota Tax Services, bringing a robust background in accounting and tax preparation to his role. He began his career with Ucran and Company, a CPA firm in Rhode Island, where he honed his understanding of general accounting principles. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and is on track to obtain his CPA license in the near future.
A significant milestone for Garrett was graduating with his degree, which laid the foundation for his career in accounting. His expertise includes a strong grasp of accounting principles, practical experience in tax preparation, and a dedication to continuous learning. His volunteer work with the VITA program, where he assisted individuals with tax returns, has equipped him with the technical and interpersonal skills necessary for success in the field.
In his current position, Garrett is focused on becoming proficient in tax as he embarks on his full-time accounting career. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf with friends and has a fun fact that surprises many: he is a twin. Garrett’s enthusiasm and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to the Dakota Tax Services team.
