Alice Cheney
As a Relationship Associate in Dakota’s Syracuse office, Alice plays a vital role by supporting three advisors with daily operations, client transactions, PAL payments, and client communications. Her keen attention to detail, consistent follow-up, quick learning ability, and thorough note-taking make her an invaluable asset to the team.
Before joining Dakota, Alice dedicated her time to bookkeeping, client billing, and appointment scheduling for a plumbing business she co-owned with her husband. During this period, she also enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, providing daycare for several children until her sons entered elementary school. It was then that she embarked on her twenty-two-year journey in the financial industry with Key Bank, starting as a part-time teller and ultimately becoming a relationship manager in Private Banking. Throughout her career, her primary focus has always been to serve clients to the best of her ability. Alice earned her Associate Degree in Floriculture from SUNY Alfred.
In her earlier years, Alice found joy in volunteering at various sporting events featuring her children. Nowadays, she cherishes spending quality time with her family, particularly her two grandchildren. Together, they enjoy camping, watching the river for boats and birds, and fishing while appreciating the beauty that nature has to offer.
